2023 Toyota bZ4X: prices

Once it finally arrives at Spinelli, the 2023 Toyota bZ4X will be selling at the following base prices:

• L: $ 47,879 
• LE: $ 52,879
• XLE: $ 57,879 
• XLE with Technology package: $ 65,639

Take note that you will also have access to government incentives, as part of a program that encourages the purchase of an electric vehicle.  This will give you access to a $ 7,000 discount from the provincial government, while the federal government adds a $ 5,000 discount as well. 

2023 Toyota bZ4X: release date

Originally due for spring 2022, the bx4X release date was pushed back several months and should now be arriving over the course of the following weeks, according to the manufacturer. 

Regardless of when it arrives, this electric Toyota vehicle sure knows how to play hard to get! And when it finally arrives in Canada, it will only be available in 2 provinces: Quebec and British-Colombia. Arrival dates in all other provinces have yet to be determined. 

2023 Toyota bZ4X: All you Need to Know

The bZ4X is the very first Toyota vehicle from the bZ series that will eventually include several other fully electric models. When it comes to dimensions, the bZ4X is slightly longer –but lower- than the Toyota RAV4, which is part of the compact SUV category. 

The very first thing you will notice when you set your eyes on the 2023 bZ4X is, without a doubt, its futuristic and stunning silhouette that is both balanced and streamlined.

The curved bumpers, the headlights and taillights with their unique design, along with the chiseled silhouette, all serve to make this compact SUV an unforgettable vehicle. 

On a practical side, the low hood allows for added visibility for the driver while making the bZ4X even more aerodynamic. 

Finally, the 2023 Toyota bZ4X offers the choice between 10 different body colors, including 4 two-tone and black roof options, and 2 interior colors, according to model. Moreover, you will have access to 784 liters of cargo space behind last row of seats. 

Power

The 2023 Toyota bZ4X offers an electric motor coupled with a 71.4 kWh battery, for a total of 201 horsepower and an electric range of up to 406 kilometers. You can also opt for an all-wheel drive version, which is coupled with a 72.8 kWh battery, in which case you will have 214 horsepower while the electric range drops to 367 kilometers. 

Moreover, the bZ4X can reach the 0-100 km/hr in 7.5 seconds for the front-wheel drive version, and 6.9 seconds for the all-wheel drive version. And when it comes to energy efficiency, numbers are 1.8/2.2 Le/100 km for the FWD models and 2.11/2.5 Le/100 km for the AWD. 

Trims and Features 

The 2023 Toyota bZ4X L has front-wheel drive; it is equipped with 18- inch wheels, heated and assisted exterior side mirrors, LED day lights, a rear-view camera, lane keep assist as well as emergency braking, amongst other things. 

Just like the L trim, the LE is equipped with two-wheel drive. It provides you with everything found on the entry-level trim, and adds:

• A heated front seat
• Radiant heating for legs and feet
• A 12.3- inch touch screen
• Rear cross traffic alert
• Park assist
• Power soft close tailgate
• And much more.
