The 2022 Toyota Tundra Coming to Spinelli

The all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra is about to launch at Spinelli, your Toyota dealer par excellence in Pointe-Claire, located near Laval! With a more muscular silhouette than ever before, even more power and great onboard technologies, the new Toyota Tundra is definitely one of the best trucks of 2022!

What's new?

One of the most notable changes to the Tundra is its increased towing capacity.

While the outgoing model could tow up to 9,700 pounds, that number has been bumped to 12,000 pounds. That puts the Tundra very close to its biggest rivals in its class. In fact, it beats out the RAM 1500 Classic, which comes in at 10,610 pounds.

Also new is an all-new 3.5 L V6 engine that produces 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 8 horsepower over the outgoing model. The 6-speed automatic transmission has been replaced by a 10-speed transmission.

The all-new i-FORCE MAX powertrain delivers a whopping 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain is available on the Limited, Platinum and 1794 versions.

Five versions of the Tundra are available:

• SR
• SR5
• Limited
• Platinum
• 1794 Edition

In addition, it will be available with a double-cab (with a 6.5- or 8.1-ft. bed) or Crew Max (with a 5.5- or 6.5-ft. bed, a new feature).

New Technologies

Depending on the version and options you choose, aboard your Tundra you will find:

• 3-inch instrument panel
• 8" or 14" touchscreen
• Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
• Cloud-based navigation
• A voice-activated virtual intelligent assistant for directions and audio commands, among other things
• And much more.

When it comes to safety, all versions of this Toyota truck come standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 suite, which includes a ton of safety technologies. These include:

• Pre-collision system with pedestrian detection;
• Dynamic radar cruise control;
• Lane departure warning;
• Rear seat reminder;
• Automatic high beams;
• And much more.

Toyota Canada has not yet announced the pricing of the 2022 Toyota Tundra, which is expected to release by the end of the year.
